About

I’m John Ferguson and represent the people of Pendlebury, Clifton and Agecroft on Salford City Council.

I’ve lived in Pendlebury for over 30 years.

I was educated at Worsly Technical College, before serving an engineering apprenticeship with a firm in Farnworth.

Most of my working life was spent with a firm of consulting engineers in Manchester where, until my retirement, I was Head of Project Administration.

I am a member of the trade union Unite.

In my spare time I enjoy walking and am an active member of the Ramblers Association
